On Sunday the 31st of August, KSTP had a team of over 50 athletes competing at the NSW Trampoline Gymnastics Intermediate State Championships. Athletes competed in levels 1-6 across all disciplines including Tumbling, SMT, DMT and Trampoline. It was a great day for all athletes, coaches and judges with plenty of medals, personal best routines plus smiles and enjoyment for all.

State Championships is the pinnacle competition for many of these athletes who competed at several other competitions before the big event. The athletes first competition was our Club Competition which was held in May providing a familiar environment for athletes to begin showing their potential routines. In June the athletes competed at a Regional Met West Qualifier, followed by the Trampoline Gymnastics State Levels Trial in August to ensure they were eligible to compete at State Championships.

The athletes all showed significant growth and improvement from comp to comp with great commitment and dedication shown by athletes, families and coaches.

Collectively, KSTP achieved 11 x 1st places, 12 x 2nd places and 9 x 3rd places. We are so proud of each one of our athletes and wish to congratulate them on not only their performance but how they represented our club and themselves at this competition.

In the final presentation of the day, after almost 12 hours of competition KSTP was awarded the 2025 Overall Champion Club. A title KSTP as now held for 7 years in a row, speaking volumes to our competition pathways and work in gym year after year.

A huge thank you and praise must go to our squad coaches, for without them and their constant care and support towards our athletes, such awesome results wouldn’t be possible

Another thank you must go to our parents and families for their continued support. For all the roles you play in your children’s sport journey, day in day out, and with all the extra things you do to optimise their competition performance, thank you. We would not have the successes we do without your commitment.

The 2025 NSW State Championships wraps up the state levels season and what a season it was. CONGRATULATIONS TEAM KSTP
