After all competitions were cancelled in 2020 it was great for our athletes who have persevered and worked so hard to have an event where they can come together and showcase what they can do. The 2021 Australian Championships were held on the Gold Coast, with Trampoline Sports held Thursday 13th to Monday 17th May. KSTP had 16 representatives on the NSW Team competing over the three disciplines, Tumbling, Trampoline and DMT with KSTP Head Coach Dima appointed the State International and National Stream Tumbling Coach
During the event we had four of our athletes acknowledged by the National Committee, from 2019. Congratulations to the following;
- Koralee Catlett awarded the Trampoline Sports Junior Female Gymnast of the Year for 2019.
- Cheyanna Robinson Award of Distinction for her first Senior World Championships in 2019.
- Ethan McGuinness Award of Distinction for his first Senior World Championships in 2019 and FIG distinction pin.
We had eight athletes attending their first Nationals joining our more experienced athletes. All athletes did themselves, their State, Club and families proud, many achieving personal bests with scores or routines. We are proud to share the following outstanding results:
